Approach

Coping with crisis – problem solving – relationship, family and workplace dispute resolutionstress relief – self-discovery of strengths - increasing self-confidence – developing the courage to embrace uncertainty - confronting the fear of failing while also pursuing a life of fulfillment, hope and joy are some of the journeys on which I can support and accompany my clients, as a systemic psychotherapist and as a life coach.

The systemic approach is a value-based and non-judgmental interaction with clients and their challenges. While activating the client’s own resources, it is the therapist‘s task to guide the joint therapeutic process through dialogue. The purpose: to expand the scope of action and create new options.

Offer

As a systemic therapist, I work with individuals (110 EUR/50 minutes), couples (200 EUR/90 minutes) and families (200 EUR/90 minutes) as well as groups.

To address challenges related to achieving professional goals, I also offer individuals (110 EUR plus VAT/50 minutes) short- or medium-term support through coaching.

I offer supervision to individuals (110 EUR plus VAT/50 minutes) and to teams in organizations. In the organizational context, my goal is to assist in optimizing communication, job satisfaction, and occupational best practices

Mannsbuilder“ is a group for men, founded by a colleague and myself. It meets every fourteen days and is an opportunity to participate in an exchange driven from within the group around the topic of being a man.

Conceptualizing and presenting continuing/advanced education seminars through non-traditional approaches to subject matter, such as the use of experts from outside the specific subject matter, provides an important incentive to pursue topics of interest. The symposium „Das Geheimnis hinter Geheimnissen“ („The Secret behind Secrets“) for example, was hosted in cooperation with Oesterreichische Arbeitsgemeinschaft fuer systemische Therapie und systemische Studien (OEAS).

Training and Professionel Background

At the ARGE Bildungsmanagement I completed the first part (Propaedeutikum) of my training in psychotherapy. The second final part (Fachspezifikum) I am finishing at the Oesterreichische Arbeitsgemeinschaft fuer systemische Therapie und systemische Studien (OEAS). As part of my training I served internships at iwik – ich will – ich kann (Verein zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualität), Gruener Kreis (association for the rehabilitation and integration of people with substance use disorders) and SMZ-Ost – Donauspital Wien (neuropsychiatric ward 28). In addition I completed the diploma course in relational coaching at the IRBW Institute for Relational Consulting and Training. From September 2019 until October 2020 I worked as a psychotherapist in training under supervision at the psychotherapeutic outpatient-clinic for family therapy at the OEAS. Immediately after this I started working in a joint psychotherapeutic practice. Since March 2023 entered into the list of psychotherapists by the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection.

My occupational origins are rooted in the film and television industry. I worked on a variety of projects in the creation of content as well as production management. Communication and problem solving were my main responsibilites. During my attendance at the Vancouver Film School (VFS) and my subsequent job at a Canadian cross-media company as well as my work on numerous film productions domestically as well as abroad, I had the opportunity to travel, to learn about different cultures, and to expand my own boundaries in many new directions. The interdisciplinary and cross-cultural experiences I gained within that context make up a cornerstone of the foundation of my work as a psychotherapist and life coach.

Appointments

Appointment bookings and inquiries regarding the first interview, the course of a series of psychotherapy or coaching sessions and my obligation to confidentiality can be directed to me in person, by telephone or by e-mail.

If for specific reasons a visit to my practice is not possible, I also offer online and telephone/video psychotherapy. Home visits are also possible, on a case-by-case basis.
